James Claude Pouncey III

“Pouncey” marched tenors with Magic of Orlando in 1992 under Mickey Hartzog, also Rich Viano, Lee Hanson and John Campese. He was offered a full music scholarship to McNeese State University through Mickey Hartzog and also marched at University of Central Florida under Professor Jeff Moore of the Madison Scouts. In 1999-2003, under Rich Viano, he performed at Walt Disney World in the Millenium Parade also known as the Tapestry of Nations Parade. In 2001, he was part of Magic of Orlando's "Micro Magic" group which performed during the 2001 season and also traveled to Okyama Japan to perform at various venues and a Drum Corps Japan regional.
