Jason is currently a freelance trumpet player in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Most Recently, Jason has recorded and performed with blues icon, David Clayton-Thomas, Sam Rivers as a member of the Juno Award winning Neufeld Occhipinti Jazz Orchestra ,Canadian jazz icon Phil Nimmons (With the Dave McMurdo Jazz Orchestra) and was very excited to perform with Jeff Healy's house band for the NHL Awards (2003-04). Jason also plays with The Rex Hotel Orchestra (under the dir. of John MacLeod) and performed in the pit orchestra for the Toronto production of Hairspray. He has also done a number of jingle sessions in Toronto. Jason has been on the Faculty at both Mohawk College in Hamilton and Humber College in Toronto. He is also an adjudicator for Musicfest Canada.
Jason has toured with Rob McConnell and the Boss Brass and Performed with a variety of artists such as Bernadette Peters, Don Rickles, Maureen McGovern, Colin James, Louis Bellson, The Temptations, Ben Vareen, Hal Linden, Bobby Vinton, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Kenny Wheeler, Bob Newhart, Jim McNeely and various others. Mr. Logue Grew up marching in the Ridge Raiders 1981-83(Hamilton, Ont.) and Dutch Boy 84-89(Kitchener, Ont.) and has been teaching in the drum corps activity since 1991. Jason has Been Involved with the Kiwanis Kavaliers since 2001 and is happy to be back with the corps this season. He is joined at home by his lovely wife Michelle and 2 Children (Hunter and Lillian). |
