Ryan Couch

Ryan Couch graduated in the top ten percent of his class from Land O’ Lakes High School in 2003. Being very active in music throughout high school Ryan held the saxophone section leader position for 2 years while also holding the Tri-M National Music Honors Society President Officer position during his junior and senior year. He was also involved in the LOLHS Marching Band as well, playing tenor sax his freshmen year and holding the Drum Major position for 3 seasons.

Residing in Tampa Florida, Ryan Couch attends the University of South Florida where he is majoring in Anthropology with a minor in Business Administration. He later hopes to attend Law school in the upcoming year. Aside from his schooling, he also instructs visual technique and music for the Countryside High School Marching Band in Clearwater, Florida and has been involved with their program since summer of 2003.

In 2002, Ryan Couch marched his first season as a member of Drum Corps International and the Kavaliers. Having never played or marched with a brass instrument, Ryan bravely took on the challenge of playing and marching in the contra section . After a brief year off, Ryan returned in 2004 to the Kavaliers as the Drum Major. Ryan is extremely honored and excited to be returning to the Kiwanis Kavaliers for another season. He will age out this summer in Madison, Wisconsin.
